Greenline now supports National Bank Direct Brokerage
Import your NBDB holdings and account activity straight from a CSV export, dividends and DRIPs included.
In 2021, National Bank Direct Brokerage became the first bank-owned brokerage in Canada to drop commissions to zero on online stock and ETF trades. A lot of Canadians took them up on it, and a lot of DIY portfolios have been growing there since.
Those portfolios are now welcome in Greenline.
Export a CSV from NBDB and import it straight into Greenline. Holdings come in with their positions and cost. Account activity comes in too: buys, sells, dividends, distributions, and reinvested dividends, right down to the fractional DRIP shares. Cash movements and your ending balance carry over so your account lines up with what NBDB shows.
There’s a step-by-step guide inside the app that walks you through getting the export from NBDB.
Special thanks to Michael L for collaborating with us to get National Bank set up.
