Net Worth Tracking
See where you stand across every account, in one view.
Most investors have no idea what their total investment picture looks like. Not because they’re not paying attention, but because their money is spread across two, three, or four different accounts at different brokerages.
Greenline adds it all up for you. Upload your statements and you’ll see your total net worth across every investment account, updated every time you add new data.
What Greenline shows you
Your net worth view combines every account you’ve uploaded into a single number. You’ll see:
- Total portfolio value across all brokerages and account types
- Account-level breakdown so you can see how much is in each account (TFSA, RRSP, non-registered, FHSA, and more)
- Historical tracking that shows how your net worth has changed over time as you upload new statements
This isn’t a guess or a rough estimate. It’s calculated from the actual holdings in your uploaded statements, using current market prices.
How it works
Every time you upload a new brokerage statement (PDF, CSV, or screenshot), Greenline updates your net worth. There’s no bank linking, no credentials to hand over. You choose what to share.
If you have a TFSA at Wealthsimple, an RRSP at Questrade, and a group RRSP through work, Greenline treats them as one portfolio. Because that’s what your net worth actually is.
Why does seeing the full number matter?
When your money is spread across accounts, it’s easy to lose track of the big picture. You might check one brokerage and feel like you’re behind, without realizing you’ve built up significant value elsewhere.
Seeing your total net worth in one place also helps you spot imbalances. Maybe 80% of your investments are in one account type, or one brokerage holds a disproportionate share of your portfolio. These are things you’d never notice checking accounts one at a time.
Does it update automatically?
Greenline updates your net worth when you upload new statements. Market prices for your holdings are updated automatically, so your portfolio value reflects current prices even between uploads. The more regularly you upload, the more complete your historical picture becomes.
