Making The Peak's 2026 Emerging Leaders list

The Peak, the Canadian business newsletter, named our co-founder and CEO Sammy Lau to its 2026 Emerging Leaders list, in the Entrepreneurship category.

It is a nice moment for our small team, and we wanted to share it with the people it really belongs to.

What it is

Every year The Peak highlights a group of up-and-coming leaders from across Canadian business, in areas like finance, tech, media, and social impact. This year Sammy was named for the work behind Greenline.

What it means to us

We did not set out to win anything. We built Greenline because we could not find a portfolio tracker that worked the way we wanted, so we made one for ourselves, then for the friends and family who kept asking us for help with their money.

A mention like this really belongs to that community. Every person who signed up, sent feedback, reported a bug, or passed Greenline along to someone else helped get us here. Thank you.

Nothing changes day to day. We are still a small bootstrapped team, still building the tool we wish we had when we started, and still shaped by what you tell us. There is a lot more to come.
