Near real-time price updates in Greenline

Another week, more improvements to Greenline. Three of them came directly from your requests.

More up-to-date stock prices

We have overhauled how Greenline pulls stock prices. Your portfolio now updates in near real-time, so the numbers you see more closely reflect what is happening in the market.

A new way to track your Adjusted Cost Basis

Tax season does not have to mean digging through old statements. The new ACB report shows your cost basis for every holding, broken down by account type.

Pick a year. Filter by TFSA, RRSP, or non-registered. See your total ACB, cost per share, and shares held, all in one place. Multi-currency holdings are converted to CAD automatically using Bank of Canada rates.

Go to Reports > Adjusted Cost Basis to check it out.

These are estimates to help you stay organized. Always confirm with your official statements at tax time.

Mutual funds look a lot better

Each fund now shows its provider logo (RBC GAM, Mackenzie, TD, and others) instead of a generic icon. You can modify your listed provider anytime under the fund’s details.

Your new direct line to us

Under Portfolio Settings at the top right, the new Beta Center gives you easy support and a way to message us directly from inside the Greenline app.

If a stock or ETF is not in Greenline, request it right from Beta Center and it will typically be added within 12 hours. And a new Direct Line goes right to us. Use it as often as you like for any issue, bug, question, or idea that would make Greenline better.

You will find both under Portfolio Settings > Beta Center.

Shoutout to Charmaine, Dave, Todd, Adeel, Greg, and Monika for your suggestions.
